A Million Ways Home is a book about friendship and sadness. Poppy Parker is a 12 year old girl who witnesses a horrible crime and it changes her life Forever. Meanwhile, she is living in a center because she lived with her grandma who just had a stroke. The police who helped her is worried that the person who  committed  the crime is looking for her, and has her live with his mother till the guy is caught. Poppy wonders whats going to happen and all she can think about is coming back to live with her grandma. When Poppy finds out where the Police Officer's  mother ( Marti) works , she wants to go everyday, And then she finds Gunner her new best dog friend. Then she meets a girl named Lizzie who is quite a troublemaker… But turns out to be a great friend.. I loved this book and would never change a word in this book!!  If I where Poppy I would change the part when Poppy goes in Gunners cage because she could have been hurt.  One juicy word I would use to describe this book is a INTRIGUING because it’s so fascinating and really kept my interest. Read A Million Ways Home and you will see life differently.

The Eighth Day is an amazing book full of wondrous adventures and excitement, too. I really did enjoy reading this book because it’s filled with all the adventures I love. It has some scary adventures, mysteries and lots of problems that you want to find out. The author Dianne K. Salerni makes you want to live in that book and never put it down. If I would have to change something, I would change that none of the bad guys would live in The Eighth Day because they don’t deserve to live in The Eighth Day since they want to zap all the other seven days out of existence! If I were Jax Aubrey, I would solve the problem by using powers to gather up other powers and use it quickly on the bad guys. One juicy word to describe The Eighth Day is adventurous because almost during the whole book your’e in one place, then another, and your’e everywhere. Read The Eighth Day, and it will change your life forever!
