Macarons at Midnight is a story about a girl named Lise and her parents are divorced.  Her mom went to Switzerland so she had to live with her dad and Stepmom, Gail, and their daughter, Destry.  She meets a guy at a French bakery called Spoonful of Sugar,  but in the meantime she is having problems with her family.  Will you find out if the boy likes her to?  I absolutely loved this book because it had so much detail and I felt like I was right there standing next to the characters.  If I were the author, I would change the stepsister’s name.   If I were a character in the book ( Lise ), I would tell the boy I met the truth about being the person he met at Spoonful of Sugar. If I were to pick one juicy word to describe Macarons at Midnight, it would be LOVE because there is so much love in this book!  One more thing, in the back of this book you will find 3 different macaron recipes! I truly and honestly recommend Macarons at Midnight to YOU!

“Love That Dog” is a book about a boy named Jack who says poetry is for girls only. And when his teacher reads him more poems, he starts to like poetry and evolving more and more. I liked this book because once in a while you had to go to the back of the book to read real poems made by real authors. I would change nothing because the book is already outstanding. If I were one of the characters in the book, I would be Jack because I would not let my dog go play in the street. If I had to pick one juicy word I would pick cliffhanger because it has so many cliffhanger. “ Love That Dog” is waiting for you to read it.

“ Love That Dog” is Miss Q`s favorite book. It is about a boy, Jack who hates writing poetry and evloves into a good boy. I liked “Love That Dog” because you learn that you can like something that you don’t like and it can become your favorite thing to do. In Jack`s case, it is writing poetry. If I could change a part in this book I wouldn’t change anything because Sharon Creech wrote this book so well that there is no way I could top it. If I were the character in this book, I would solve the problem exactly like Jack did. If I could pick a juciy word to describe “ Love That Dog” it would be encouraging because if Jack can do it so can you . I would recommend “Love That Dog” to you because you will learn about poetry and how to evolve.

A tournament that hasn’t happened for millions of years in the wizarding world, in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is about to happen.  Will Harry Potter go, or will Uncle Vernon hold him back?   Soon, at Hogwarts, Harry Potter will be in great danger.  I loved this book because it had me at the edge of my seat!  I couldn’t put the book down until I finished.  Although, I would change a part of the book.  I don’t want to spoil it, so, if you have read the book you can keep on reading: (SPOIL ALERT!  If I were the author, I would change that Voldemort doesn’t kill Cedric by using one of the unforgivable curses, avada kadabra).  I would solve Harry’s problem by escaping the trap someone had set quickly enough so that nobody gets hurt.  A JUICY word to describe this book is pernicious because when Harry goes to Hogwarts, there will be lots of trouble.  Beware the dangers… in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The book, The Beast of Blackslope, is about adventuer and mystery. It is about two children named Xena and Xander and they love to solve mysteries like their Great – Great – Great Grandfather,  Sherlock Holmes. They go to a town called Blakslope and hear mysterious howls. I liked the book because it was so full of secrets and mystery. I would change the fact that they were visiting Blackslope; it would be more interesting if they lived there. If I were Xena, I would go interrogate everyone I heard talking about the mystery. I would have found it out by trying to find things that people would not let anyone go near or touch. A word I’d pick for this story is scary because it is about a type of curse. I’d recommend the Beast of Blackslope to you because it is very scary, interesting, and because you will love it.

The only thing I would change in this book is that I would want Nico to stay at camp because he is the most important (and my favorite) character in the book. Out of My Mind is a heart-warming story and its rich with incredibly realistic details, it will leave you wanting for more. Eleven-year-old Melody has cerebral palsy, and she can’t walk, talk, or even write! She’s the smartest kid in her whole school, and no one even acknowledges it! Not even her teachers or doctors. Melody goes to a special class for disabled children, and all she does there is consistently recites the alphabet over and go ever theover again. Everyone thinks she’s incapable of learning, and it makes her go out of her mind, so, she tries to prove to everyone out there that just because she’s physically disabled, doesn’t mean her mind  is limited to a world of knowledge. There is absolutely nothing to change about this book, the author has created this book perfectly. I couldn’t have worded it better myself. One juicy word I would use to describe Out of my Mind  is moving, because this book is so touching, and it makes me feel warm inside. Titus, Jill, Web, Paul, and Mr. E build a tent with tarp on top of it and find enough food to survive while in Alaska. They named it Camp Lollipop because Suryadi, Mr. E, Titus, Web, Paul, and Jill got to have lollipops. Titus found a crossbow in the plane and told everyone. Everyone was hoping for a knife because they thought it would be more useful. Everyone argued about sleeping in the plane overnight because they thought it would was safe from bears but dangerous because the plane could sink. In the middle of the book, my favorite character dies. His name was Suryadi. Jill
caught some fish while Web chopped the head of and gave it Buford the dog. While Jill was watching over night, a bear came. Everyone backed up and let the bear go away. Mr. E made markings on a tree for how many days they had survived in Alaska. A plane flew over head and everyone tried to get its attention but the plane did not see them. Titus and Web set out to find help and keep going to follow the river. In the end of the book, Mr. E, Jill, and Paul get saved. Titus and web can’t go any farther because they are to weak. Web tries to swim and he dies. Titus tries to swim and he makes it Titus tries making a fire, but his fingers can not move and while he was trying to do it a helicopter saves him. While Titus gets saved, Buford was at the vet and everyone who survived had a happy life.
