Hoot
is a great story where Roy has just moved from Montana to Florida, “Cool” he
thought as he found out about the new Mother Paula’s Pancake House, but later
he finds out about the owls. What will he do? I loved this book because this
book makes you realize that you have to stand up for what is right. If I was
the author, I would not make Lonna so harsh to Mullet Fingers. If I was Roy, I
would have stopped the vandalism and figured it out without any sabotaging. One
juicy word I would use to describe this book is brave because these kids have to be brave to stand up for what they
believe in, even if they are at risk. Hoot is a great and fascinating book
which I recommend to… anyone. Happy Reading!!!
