The book, The Beast of Blackslope, is about adventuer and mystery. It is about two children named Xena and Xander and they love to solve mysteries like their Great – Great – Great Grandfather,  Sherlock Holmes. They go to a town called Blakslope and hear mysterious howls. I liked the book because it was so full of secrets and mystery. I would change the fact that they were visiting Blackslope; it would be more interesting if they lived there. If I were Xena, I would go interrogate everyone I heard talking about the mystery. I would have found it out by trying to find things that people would not let anyone go near or touch. A word I’d pick for this story is scary because it is about a type of curse. I’d recommend the Beast of Blackslope to you because it is very scary, interesting, and because you will love it.

The Eighth Day is an amazing book full of wondrous adventures and excitement, too. I really did enjoy reading this book because it’s filled with all the adventures I love. It has some scary adventures, mysteries and lots of problems that you want to find out. The author Dianne K. Salerni makes you want to live in that book and never put it down. If I would have to change something, I would change that none of the bad guys would live in The Eighth Day because they don’t deserve to live in The Eighth Day since they want to zap all the other seven days out of existence! If I were Jax Aubrey, I would solve the problem by using powers to gather up other powers and use it quickly on the bad guys. One juicy word to describe The Eighth Day is adventurous because almost during the whole book your’e in one place, then another, and your’e everywhere. Read The Eighth Day, and it will change your life forever!
