A Night Divided is about
a girl named Gerta whose family gets divided overnight by the Berlin Wall. She
sees soldiers trained to shoot anyone who tries to escape. When she sees her
dad doing a dance on the other side of the wall, she thinks he is trying to
tell her to escape. Would she risk her life to get to the other side of the
wall? I
love A Night Divided because it is adventurous and intense and books like that
are intriguing to me. I would not change a thing about what Gerta did because
she always thought about family first and what she did was so smart. If I could
change one thing about the book, I would keep writing at the end and tell what
they did and what school she was going to go to and so on. My one juicy word is
intense because she was in so much danger but she kept on going. If you like
intense and adventurous books, A Night Divided is for YOU!!!
