If you want to read a book with a lot of twists and turns, you will love to read The Mysterious Benedict Society and The Perilous Journey because it is full of mysteries every page you turn. I loved reading this book because I love to read books that are jam packed with a lot of mysteries and action on every page. I also liked reading the book because once you started reading, you coudn’t stop. If I were the author, I would not change a single part of the book because it is the best book I have ever read and there is no better way to solve the mystery than a bunch of clues leading them to finding the captured Mr Benedict. If I were a character in the book, I would have solved the problem the same way they did because they solved it in the most intelligent and unexpected way.  One juicy word to describe this book would be thriller because it is a really exciting book and once you start reading, you can’t stop. If you like a book with action, adventure, and mysteries, then you just might find yourself reading the best book in the world The Mysterious Benedict Society and The Perilous Journey.

Katarina's A Night Divided book review

Name of Reviewer: Katarina

Title of Book: A Night Divided

Author of Book: Jennifer A. Nielsen

# Of pages: 317

# AR points: 11.0                                              RL: 5.4

A Night Divided is about a girl named Gerta whose family gets divided overnight by the Berlin Wall. She sees soldiers trained to shoot anyone who tries to escape. When she sees her dad doing a dance on the other side of the wall, she thinks he is trying to tell her to escape. Would she risk her life to get to the other side of the wall? I love A Night Divided because it is adventurous and intense and books like that are intriguing to me. I would not change a thing about what Gerta did because she always thought about family first and what she did was so smart. If I could change one thing about the book, I would keep writing at the end and tell what they did and what school she was going to go to and so on. My one juicy word is intense because she was in so much danger but she kept on going. If you like intense and adventurous books, A Night Divided is for YOU!!!
