Carlos Three Musketeers' Book Review

Name of Reviewer: Carlos
Title of Book: Three Musketeers
Author of Book: Alexandre Dumas
# of pages: 700
# AR points:    42.0                             RL: 11.3
The Three Musketeers is a thrilling story made by Alexandre Dumas in 1844. The book has a lot of adventure like when D’Artangnan fights for Anne of Austria.
I really liked this book because there was always something going on in every page of the book.  One part I would change about this book is when D’Artangan duels against Aramis, Athos, and Porthos because they become really good friends. If I was D’Artagnan, I would have solved the problem by killing the Cardinal and the Duke of Buckingham. One juicy word I would pick about this book is adventurous because there is a lot of action. I really enjoyed The Three Musketeers and I think that you would too.

If you like cliff hangers and crazy adventures, Riding Freedom is the book for you! I liked the book because it was filled with excitement and fun. If I was the author I would change the way Charlotte escapes; it would be more interesting if she escaped with a horse. If I was Charlotte, I would’ve tried to convice Hayward’s family into letting me be adopted too. This would be important to me because Charlotte wouldn’t be split up. One juicy word that would describe RF is enthusiasm because the story is very exciting. Riding Freedom is an amazing book; I hope I read more like this!

If you like mystery books, you will absolutely love The Miserable Mill  because it is all about  mystery. I adore The Miserable Mill because it always leaves you on a cliffhanger when the chapter ends which makes me yearn to read more. If I were the author, I would change the place the Baudelaire children are heading because it had nothing to the with the series. If I were a character in the book, I would avoid going to the lumber mill and go to a safe place where the Baudelaires wouldn’t get hurt. If I had to pick one word to describe the book, it would be mysterious. So, if I were you, I would check out The Miserable Mill right away.

AR POINTS 1    #RL 4.5

I loved Love That Dog because Jack has to figure out how write poetry and he writes an amazing poem which you have to read to find out.  I would change almost every page in Love That Dog because I wanted there to be pictures in Love That Dog because I would be able to understand the story better. I would have had jack learn to love to write poetry earlier in the Love That Dog but for the rest of the story I would do everything Jack did.  I would pick the word extraordinary because it was remarkable and amazing at the same time.  I loved the book Love That Dog because it made me feel all kinds of emotions when you start reading you just can’t stop reading.

Minty’s The Horse and His Boy Blog Book Review

The Horse and His Boy is a very enjoyable book. I like The Horse and His boy because I like adventure and excitement. There is one thing I would like to change about the book: Bree and Hwin  should have gotten married like Shasta and Avaris. The problem in the book is that a man named Rabadash is trying to conquer Narnia and I would solve that problem by getting Aslan of course (Aslan is the one who made all the talking animals like Bree and Hwin). A juicy word to describe  the book is excitable because every turn of a page it is an adventure, and when you finish it you are going to want more! So, I suggest if you read The Horse and His Boy  and like it, you should read the rest of the series!

Charmed Life  Mia ‘s Golden Bird is a wonderful novel to read Mia loves surfing and taking pictures until one day she brakes her leg. entertained. One day she meets an actress, Lucy.  Lucy sees Mia’s scrap book and asks Mia to come on a hike with her to take pictures of birds for her to start her own scrapbook .  I loved the book because I like stories that are adventures and I have a lot of fun reading them because the story is filled with details.  I would not change anything about this book because it was the perfect book to pick out from the Library, and like I said,  it has lot’s of mysteries to read about. It was fantastic.  If I were Lucy in the book, I would have solved the problem by taking pictures like Mia did in the story and making my own scrapbook with pictures of all kinds of animals.  If I could pick one juicy word to describe the book it would be adventure because there are lot of like when Mia goes with Lucy to hike in the forest. adventures parts in this book.  Readers, I think you should read Charmed Life becaue if you are a person who likes adventures,  you will love this book.
