InThe Reptile Room, the Baudelaire children go through a seires of unfortunate events. I like the book because the children were very smart. Violet liked to build things, Sunny liked to bite things with her sharp teeth, and Klaus liked to read books. One thing I would change in the story is that the children never have the bad events that happen like them having to live with Count Olaf. I would solve the problem by proving that Count Olaf was a bad person and then they wouldn’t have to live with him. If I could pick one juicy word to describe the book, I would pick unpleasant because most of the story bad events happen. If you do not like books about horrible things happening, you shouldn’t read The Reptile Room.

If you are interested in books that make you fall off your seat when your reading, then Kira-Kira  is the book for you. I love this book because it is so addictive.  If I were the author, I would change that the parents are not from Japan but that they are from China. If I were Lyn, I would have told my mom that I needed to see the doctor. If I could pick one word to describe this book, it would be emotional  because so many sad things happened . “ My parents said that slapping was the first thing that you should never do. Stealing was second, and lying was third. I have committed all of those crimes before I was twelve”. If you like books that leave you anxious at the end of every page, then Kira-Kira  is the book for you.
